Why is my ex being rude to me?

Well my ex dumped me yesterday and he just being real rude and nasty about it. I was trying to be civil about it but he sending me nasty messages , making posts on Twitter. I should be the one mad.

Why do you care? If he is an ex, then DONT read his posts or Twiiter, and DONT dwell on msgs he sends. No matter what he sends. Delete! If this dude dumped YOU, then you shouldnt give a hoot what he posts. Funk him. Move on. Drop contact babes.

what kinda messages? trust me my ex did that to me alot! not only tht but he even got his frends to verbally harass me..nd now he's beggin to be with me again, stay civil nd find gd frends tht will help u forget..he must reallyyy like u to do all that! it kills him that ur not together anymore..he's an idiot so ignore him nd find a better guy out there huz kinder, nicer, smarter, better lookin and will treat u better

He's just being a d*ck to get a rise out of you because, for whatever reason, it makes him feel better about himself. It's probably just some way to make him feel like he has some sort of "power" over you and that he can make you feel like crap and you'll just crawl back to him. It may be some show he's putting on for his friends or for someone else, but either way, he sounds like an a$$hole and the best way you can get him back for it is act like you don't care! If I had taken that same advice everyone was giving me to go out and live my life and not care about how horrible my ex was treating me, I would've saved myself a hell of a lot of dignity. Instead I kept texting him and making myself look like a total idiot while he walked all over me. Now I look back and wish like heeeeelllll that I had stood up to that jerk. Take my advice please! He's not worth it.
