Why do people call the news media liberal?

News media whether audio, video and print should always be liberal and free from any pressure and bindings. Its survival based only it if is representing the country and its allied agency in respectable way. It should always be an independent institution and should run its business with loyalty and dedication in terms of news representation instead to be pressurized from the govt, politicians or any other agency which no doubt does impact to its true coverage. It should be impartial, the news should not appear as a trauma for the readers, listeners and viewer. In a democratic set up the status of a news agency certainly plays a pivotal and vital role.
