What are some good blogging services to use in the classroom?

I teach grade 3/4 and I'm looking to embed social media and tech in my program. I'm looking at some different blogging platforms such as Blogster, edublogs, posteriors, blogmeister etc. I'm also looking at some social networking platforms that I could use such as edmodo that are more closed and are more collaborative. If you use something like this in your class or have looked into this topic please share some of your ideas.
