Do I have to have Internet on my phone in order to use Twitter?

i have a samsung glyde from verizon, which has no internet on it. i was wondering if i could still use twitter somehow on it, even though there is no internet. also, would i have to pay anything. i have unlimited texting, sooo if there are any other charges, i'd like to know.

Well its pretty obvious that if you have no internet you can't use Twitter.

No. You dont need the internet on your phone. Pls follows these steps below:

1. Sign up for a twitter account

2. Once done, select 'settings' link from the menu at the top-right corner

3. Then select 'devices' tab from the list, and enter your cellphone number http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2639/3721...1e4788.jpg

4. Under your number there will be a box to check that asks if twitter may send messages to your phone, as stadard rates apply. But if you're on an unlimited texting program, then you shouldnt be charged anthing extra at all.. But call your cell phone service to make sure before signing up your cellphone number
