Fastest way to create an Android app:-

Rating: Create your own Android app in 2 minutes flat

This has got to be the simplest and fastest way of creating an Android app – ever! If you don’t believe us, go to AppsGeyser here right now. GoMo News created an app that points people at one of our blog sites in two minutes flat. No kidding. We now regret we didn’t get the chance to meet up with Vasily Salomatov, AppsGeyser’s co-founder at MWC 2011. Perhaps then we would have learnt how you can actually monetise your app by inserting ads into the app and then getting paid by AppsGeyser for doing so.When you visit the AppsGeyser web site, you’re presented with three methods of creating the app.

One would be to cut an paste the HTML code for a web widget which you’ve already developed. Another would be to cut and paste code for a single web page.

However, the option we took was to simply enter the URL for the blog site.

In theory you should be pointing at a mobile friendly web site but the app appeared to automatically recognise (and optimise) a WordPress hosted blog we write in.

Next you sign up for the service and this process will take you to the dashboard.

You can then test your app. It’s a piece of cake to download the app because Appsgeyser automatically create a QR code.

All you need to do is fire up your barcode reader – such as Neoreader from NeoMedia – and the handset’s browser is automatically routed to your download page.

Now all you need to do is create some publicity for the app. On the AppsGeyser site there are already links to six leading social networks – including Twitter and Facebook.

You can also publish the app to the Android Market or AppsGeyser’s own app store. Naturally, you’ll have to wait for the app to be properly vetted first.

When you achieved a certain level of downloads, AppsGeyser will then let you insert one of its ads into the app so you can earn a bit of wonga from your efforts.

Salomatov tells us that since launching its beta product in January [2011], AppsGeyser has seen about 1,000 new apps created each week.

If you want an idea of how a credible Android app can be produced through AppsGeyser take a look at this one created to help you shop at Walmart here.

And if you want to look at one created by a (very) simple hack, here‘s ours.

Don’t hang about. Get apping right away with AppsGeyser.

All the best.!!!
