Has Tom Daley ever replied to good messages sent to him?

I was surprised to see him replying to the hate message that caused the sender to be detained. I wonder if Tom Daley ever replied to good messages like prayers, congratulations or questions. I thought celebrities only use social media to send generalised statements and never replied anything.

A lot of celebrities have their Facebook and personal websites managed by other people. Eminem's Facebook page is a good example. They simply don't have the time or energy to listen to what a million people or even hundreds of thousands of fans have to say. Who ignores you on FB? The paid personal assistant who is hired to weed out bad comments and negative press.

There used to private forums back in the day where many celebrities would come and post but only to fans or only to each other. If you're curious, I was on a forum by chance where they talked only to each other and they never talked about fans. Topics were business related mostly. These days, almost all celebrities use Twitter because it's quick and convenient. Even then, they rarely reply to people they don't know.

On YouTube there's some videos "Celebrities Read Negative Tweets" which are pretty funny. You can tell most of them are unaware of what a lot of us are saying. I haven't heard about the message Mr. Daley received but perhaps it struck a chord. I've seen that happen before where tons of people are leaving nice messages and there's a few bad ones but one really hits a nerve and prompts the celeb to reply.

Don't know if he replies to anything. Be inspired but live your own life.
