How do you find wifi settings on Windows XP?
I`m on an ancient Dell Inspiron with Windows XP and I need to find the wifi name/password. Help please? (also the more detailed the better because everything is in french)

Try this

Reboot the computer, pressing "F8" as start up begins. Choose "Safe Mode." Let Windows XP boot. Go to "Start/Control Panel/User Accounts." Remove the password for the User in question and either leave it password-free or enter a new password. For a Vista machine, download Ophcrack to find the Administrator password.

Meg,

Unfortunately, there is no way in windows XP for showing wireless password like windows 7 but you can give a try. Using your computer, connect to wireless router's built-in web server and check the router's wireless network security configuration. You would need to go to your routers website.
