What are some good ways to expose my etsy shop?

I've recently started a hobby of making hair bows and just started up an etsy shop to sell them online. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas to get my name out there for people to know about my shop. I've been using facebook and twitter and other social media and having my friends help and post my link around. Any other ideas?

there are people in deviantart posting up products of what they are selling from etsy
it works people even comment on them

You could try starting up a blog and mention your etsy shop a couple times
Or you could make some business cards and send them out to local houses
Also, high schoolers may be interested in these kind of things so you could try posting your link on some high school oriented blogs
