Blame the illiteracy and unemployment of people in India and yes peoples craze of money. Its true money can buy anything

It is not increasing day by day, it's just that it's getting reported more by the media now. For instance the rate of rapes wasn't any lower, say in 2011 than now. Women were getting raped all over the country even then and all (electronic) media used to do was show the news at the bottom of the TV screen, they didn't used to give it much importance like they do now by debating over the issue and everything. After the unfortunate gang-rape incident when sad and angry people came out on the streets, only then the media and government came into an active stance. Actually the conditions in different states across India are way different. Here in Himachal crime rates are not high at all and people live good and peaceful lives. It has partially to do with the fact that population of the state is not even 7 million, it's around 6.8 million whereas approximately 200 million people live in UP and another 100 million in Bihar where crime rates are extremely high. So crime is definitely related to the population but, the social environment of a society also has a lot to do with it, if there's a sense of brotherhood and friendliness among the people (himachalis are extremely helpful to each other in everyday life and are very peace-loving in general) crime would definitely decrease. Other than that, the economic condition of a society also affects the number of crimes. There are a lot of factors related to crime but an individual can't really do much about it today. The best thing he can do is to make sure that he and his family are protected in every way.

Crimes are increasing because in this bloody country the dogs sitting in state and centre can't decide whether the 6 rapists be hanged or not. But now after listening to the interview of her friend on Zee news it is clear that all the six rapists must be burnt alive as per the wishes of the girl. Her friend has clearly said that even an animal won't take out organs of someone alive and will first kill its prey completely and then eat it. And these SIX rapists tortured her inhumanly. If any less punishment is given Congress is not understanding that what it will result into and there is clear writing on the wall that congress will be totally wiped out in 2014 elections in India. The writing on the wall is clear.

I mean even after such brutal incidence and nationwide protests if Congress government can't give them severe punishment it is probably the last Congress government in India and after that there will be no Congress.

Because the administration of law and order is very weak and defective and the criminal laws are ineffective and jails which are the star hotels of criminals ,have become more safer than the outside world .Vagabonds who have no means of income prefer to go to the jail and the right route is crime and the police is very ineffective against the criminals and are very impolite ,uncivil and harsh to the complainants .The environment is very conducive to the good growth and development of crimes .It might be honoured as the crime capital of the world .There are enough social activists to speak on behalf and in favour ,of the criminals and murderers ,and enough number of politicians justifying the crimes against the victims who are innocent children and women ..The reduce the commission of offences , the human right activists who have contributed to the growth of criminals must be sentenced to life imprisonment till death ,first .This is the only country where the netas and the criminals alike are provided with security equally by most of the police force and the society is left insecure .

The crime rates were not as much as now , when illiteracy was more than 80% and emploment opportunities were much less than what they are now ,So they are elimiated as the causes of increase in crimes .
The rule "As is the king , so are the subjects " alone will apply here .
