Does it cost extra to send a text from the UK to someone on holiday in Spain?

I'm on Orange pay as you go Dolphin, and I'm just wondering if there are any extra charges for me or the recipient (who normally lives in the UK) if I text her when she's on holiday in Spain?

No, it will cost the same and is included in your bundle.
If they are to text you though, it will cost them extra.

I might not cost you anything, but remember that if she is on normal pay as you go, it will cost her to recieve texts.

Hey James, In fact if she used her British sim card & She use roaming in Spain.It won't cost you additional charges.But if she bought a new sim card from Spain & you texted her it will cost you additional charges.Trust me i tried it before :-) Good Luck!

Hi James

It wouldn't cost you any extra to text a UK mobile which was currently in Spain. If the recipient is on Orange, then they would not incur any charges for receiving your text message either. If they are on another network, they should double check this with their mobile provider.
