Are you tired of kids responses?
Kids are definitely getting on my nerves lately. My girlfriend and I live together and her son is so disrespectful. And unlike when i grew up I just don't believe you can hit other people child. But he says what, why and doesn't really want to do chores. I mean hes pushing my patient all the time. I have my own son and i'd flip out if he talked to a friend like that let alone me. He wouldn't dare talk to me like that. But i notice a lot of kids don't respect adults. Even now that im older i still respect people older than me.

Yep I've had enough of disrespectful kids these days and it scares me that these kids could be looking after me when I'm older
I've got 2 sons who don't seem to give a damn and teachers are too scared to discipline kids like we used to.

To a degree, yes. If they are real responses from kids, it's part of their development, and no. However, if everything out of their mouths sounds like they're trying to be "miniature adults" or they are trying to mimic the responses of the "cute tykes" they always bring into foundering sitcoms (they did it with countless programmes, like the "Brady Bunch", "the Cosby Show", "the Partridge Family" and when a natural addition to a TV family in the space of a summer off goes from being an infant to a smart-alecky 6-year old with a 20-years-out-of-date hairdo), then definitely yes.

...your lady friend should lay down some rules on decent behavior for her son...(you're in a hard position not being the legal dad, though).. he may not listen to her....

As a 17 year old I can see where you're coming from. A lot of kids these day's have no boundaries, and have no respect. What makes me laugh is how they swear that they know everything, but they've never paid a bill before, or had to worry about whether or not they will still have their job by the end of the month.
Kids these day's are given everything that they want from $300 sneakers to iPads, and smart phones. Half of them don't even bring home decent grades. Sometimes I ask myself "What the hell are the parents doing?", because I know that my parents would smack me into another race, if I ever disrespected someone like that. I see kids talking back rudely to teachers, or adults on the street, if things are going their way.
One girl wanted to borrow my iPod 4th generation to go on twitter during class. I told her no, she got mad and said "F--k you liz. You stank a$$ bytch". I wanted to beat her a$$, but of course I can't just go around hitting people because of how they talk to me. What annoys me is kids who go crazy when they hear the word no.

I think the problem could be that we live in a time where kids in a way are brainwashed to believe that they are adults because of the things that they see on tv. A lot of them have an entitled mind set. They're kids now. What would be scary is if they're still acting the same way at 22. Imagine what their kids will be like.
