Is it strange that I can't remember people from my past who remember me?

I'm 19. When I was in the 1st or 2nd grade, I think I was about 7 or 8, I lived in Sweden for a year. Apparently I had this best friend named Elin. She recently added & messaged me on facebook about how much she misses me, how much fun we used to have, etc. My mom even tells me we were inseperable. However, I don't remember her AT ALL. Like, I have 0 memories of her. I don't even recognize her face. Is it wierd that I can't rememer her?

I don't know why I would have blocked the memories... Nothing bad happened to me... I loved Sweden...

Sounds like you have blocked the memories. I have done that with some of my past due to me having being severely bullied. To ease the pain I lost the memories. Did you do the same?
