How do I turn on my built in Dell webcam on my pc?
It's my integrated camera on my Dell desktop... I never used it before and I don't know how to turn it on. I looked on a site and it said to uninstall and reinstall the drivers but I can't even find the drivers. It may not be installed? Either way I'm completely clueless.

Help a girl out?

just open an application that uses it....

If it doesnt show up in list of availabale input, i cant help you because i dont know the exact model of your HP, but you may just want to upgrade your drivers.

Hello Carmen,
My name is Krishna and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. Your system should have a program called Dell Webcam central that allows you to turn on the camera. You can find the program under Start -> Programs. Once it is open

1. Click the <?> in the upper right corner.
2. Click Help.
3. You can open each section to find out how to use the features or search for the feature you want to know about.

If the program is not installed, you can download it from https://smartsource.dell.com/. You need to register yourself using the system's Service Tag number. Hope this helps.

Regards,

You may find the article How To Use a Webcam http://ml.vu/WDyir2 helpful as it describes how to use your webcam for taking pictures, recording videos, and video chat. It recommends several free software tools, and provides links where you can download them.
