how do i get my crush to notice me?

he just broke up w/ his gf & hes really depressed by what i see on his twitter.. i dont talk to him @ all. the thing is that me & his bestfriend had a little thing going on but its all over. i havent talked to the bestfriend. any advice? i really like this guy..

I totally understand you and what you're going through. I went throught the same, so I sympathize with you. What I did, is I got closer. I asked him how his day was, and I just listened. Sometimes just listening helps. I also baked him brownies, and tried to make him feel special. It's all the little things. And don't be discouraged if he doesn't acknowledge it at first or ever. It just means that his depression is so deep, that he can't really notice. So be patient with him. Try slowly inviting him to activities he might enjoy and let his body language help you get closer. He may categorize you as a friend verbally, but he'll notice. And truly, helping a guy get over something is the best thing you can do. Try to show him your good side, don't just smash his ex. Let him see how you could never hurt him or let him down. If he's on a sports team, go see his games and cheer him on. Good luck! Hope this helps!!!
