Why did he delete his comment on Facebook?

It's a long story, but in short...
On Facebook the guy I liked commented on one of my pictures.. it was a nice response with explanation points and such... I responded to it normally, and he responded once again with smiley faces and explanation points ext. I didn't respond again.

Well I logged back into Facebook, happy that he commented.. but when I checked for any new comments I saw he had deleted both of his posts off my photo? Why would he do this?

Hopefully someone has a basic idea >.<

Does his account still exist? When someone deletes their account, their comments and likes will 'disappear' until they reactivate their account again.
