What did he mean by this?
I've been hooking up with a guy for a little while, and recently "our relationship" came up and I labeled it a casual sexual relationship and he corrected me and said it was anything but casual and that it was very involved. What does that mean...?

He means he has defined your "hooking up" as "in an exclusive relationship". He doesn't want it to be casual, and the fact that he corrected you makes it glaringly obvious.

If you're not ready to be serious with him, you should probably let him know SOON before you break his heart.
