I hate it with a passion! and i sent a report feedback to the youtube website too -_- i have copy pasted it here.I have put what i sent to the youtube website/google in quotations so you can see wha t i have sent to them apart from this text. Tell me if you agree with me, to some extent, or not at all and why, thanks. Some point in my report i have stated i have been on youtube since 2008, actually i was on youtube since 2007. So i have been on youtube since i was 8 years old lol Smile

im 15 now.

YOUTUBE IS NOT NOT NOT YOUR PLAY THING TO TRY AND GAIN MORE MONEY -_- DON'T YOU DARE EVER DO IT!!! NO I DO NOT LIKE IT. YOU HAVE COMPLETELY RUINED A GOODD THING AND MADE IT WORSE -_- YOU TOOK THE "YOU" OUT OF YOUTUBE. YOU HAVE COMPLETELY TAKEN THE MEANING OUT OF IT :/ I do not like it one bit! No google, i do not like it. You need to stick to being a search engine, because tampering with a good website and social media networking website is not for you. Hell yahoo is doing better than you -_- unlike your help forum, yahoo answers is a way better deal. Yes, i use google search engine more than yahoo, but i use yahoos essentials much more than i ever will with google! Yahoo's email, yahoo answers website, and many more. They actually listen to their feedback! You guys are way too greedy, i do NOT like it. want a brief description? No. Instead, you are going to get a DISSATISFIED PERFORMANCE ON NOT ONLY WITH YOUTUBE, BUT ALSO ABOUT YOUR COMPANY. I DO NOT LIKE ANY OF IT. I WANT THE OLD YOUTUBE BACK :/ YES WE WANT TO SOCIALIZE -_- YOU RUINED IT. I'm done."
guys try to spread this question around youtube, i want to start an online petition to see if it helps. i do not like what they did to youtube they like using it as their playground for money...

The simplistic look doesn't really bother me, it's just that it's so much harder to navigate for me. I agree.

I absolutely HATE the new Youtube as well. They wouldn't even let me sign in with my Youtube username! WTF is up with that?!

Yes. I am so deeply annoyed with Google's CEO. Why the heck would you change something so abruptly. You can make your bottom line without pulling the rug from under your users. I've never heard of a company ignoring their user base and being successful. I literally have not heard a single positive thing about their new layout, FROM ANYONE I KNOW! They must really think they're hot shit. Like they can just do anything and we'll just accept it. Like they don't get the concept of supply and demand. We demand you supply. Don't give me something I didn't ask for like you know what's best for me. They are a source of entertainment not a necessity and can be replaced or have they're reputation diminished and thus devalue their property. Lets not get to big for our britches, thinking we're the best thing to hit the Internet since free porn. Lest we go the way of MySpace. They were big to...Then Facebook happened. *Sighs* At the very least give me the OPTION of staying with the old layout. Douche bags...

yes I agree ever since Youtube partnered with Google, it has been the pits. I still use it but only because everyone goes there (I mostly watch it for 2 youtubers)
the layout is a drop in the ocean. what pisses me off most is 2 things: the stupid copyright laws (copyright laws exist for a reason but they go way overboard with it. how is posting montage videos esp with footage that isn't current, with no intention on profiting illegal? and sometimes even under a minute clip videos are removed. it's like people aren't allowed to use anything anymore. do they realize that a lot of inventions were based on someone else's idea? hell the whole world must be violating copyright laws on a regular basis just by being alive because chances are conversations we have with our friends or what have you..chances are somebody else said it first. I know that's not Youtube's fault but still it wasn't nearly this strict before they partnered with Google....)
and the other thing is Google Mail/Youtube are linked to each other so if I'm watching a video when I'm still signed into my mail it goes in my history. I sometimes forget to check out of my mail so I can't always remember. plus it's just weird to have these two linked. I want the option to take it off!

I cant find the 'browse' button to browse videos instead of my suscription
However I know how to get the old youtube layout back
If you're using Google Chrome like me try this to get old layout:

1.Go to http://www.youtube.com and press F12 or right click and click 'Inspect Element'

2.In Inspect Element, click 'Console' icon

3.Copy paste this:
document.cookie="VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE=qDpUsBNO0FY; expires=Thu, 2 Aug 2020 20:47:11 UTC"

4.Hit Enter on the web address or refresh the youtube address.Also try close the youtube tab and reopen it.

5.Voila!You got your old YouTube layout back
