It will be a sad day when a mother text her 4 year old "hugs and kisses" instead of ever actually performing those actions, when criminals are banned from using the internet instead of jailed. When movies, romances, and human emotions are all done by social media instead of in person by choice at first and then by force with growing demand depleting people's mental resources. Do people not see that the negative far outweigh the positive and that real human progress is being stunted?

I think the raising in racism is also a problem. People are very simple and will believe what they see in the media to be true. They take that as what "life really is". And then when they get called out for it, they then pretend that they don't have a problem.

its funny that u ask this because i read someones answer (they were a minor) to a question the other day in the "parenting" section and they mentioned how they get mad when their parents tell them they cant text because "how else are they supposed to talk to their friends" and "if they don't text their friends back they wont be their friend any more" ............................
.........LMAO!!!! r u serious?!?! hahaha!!! texting and all this social network crap was JUST recently invented!!!! its called picking up a damn phone and calling ur "friend". we are depriving the youth of REAL opportunities to communicate....i can just imagine nowadays in high school (i graduated in 2005) kids probably sit/stand in a circle in silence and text each other in stead of actually talking LOL!! <<< im obviously over exaggerating, i hope i am & that its not true! |
