Why will the Facebook login page not load?

When I try to get on Facebook, both by typing the web address in or going to the site via Google, the page is just white. There is no Facebook banner or picture and the page says it has loaded. I am on Firefox on my laptop at the moment, I downloaded Chrome and the page loads fine on that.
I have cleared my Cache after someone suggested that but nothing has worked. I can't recall any updates or changes I have done that would cause it, I first noticed it after my iPad had been connected to my laptop whether there is any correlation?
It only seems to be Facebook that has the problem; I tried Twitter, Youtube and ebay and they're fine.
Any ideas?

if it loads fine on your chrome but not on your firefox, it only means browser issue -- reset would be one of the basic things you can do -- but if it does not work --- try uninstalling/reinstalling firefox

It isn't loading on my iPad, so what I've done is gone to google , typed in ' Facebook login ' & then that page loads fine & you're in to Facebook again
