Gangnam Style is a Korean Pop music that unexpectedly exploded almost everywhere in this world all because of a Tweet in July of 2012 from Justin Timberlake and possibly Justin Bieber's manager, which they said that the dances in the music video on YouTube (currently its viewers are over a Million O_o) were awesome and that it seemed nearly impossible to copy them. So as this tweet became the key to the popularity of Gangnam Style.

As London 2012 Olympic began, Psy predicted that the music video was not going to be the "moon-shooter" cause the Olympics were going to interrupt the popularity. So he thought of releasing just BEFORE the 2012 Olympics which was July 15. Turned out his plan was over successful due to the Tweets of the two people mentioned earlier. Later, other celebrities began Tweeting the same thing as the two people and so the Gangnam Style became viral, starting by Tweets. As time passed by, it got out of hand and by the time London finished its hard work of setting the Olympics in August, Gangnam Style was not only viral on Twitter.

Psy was really satisfied but knew it was unexpecting. Celebrities began bringing him in their shows, and places and to do the dance with them. Psy was exploding in fortune and made world tours, and finally at December, the YouTube video "Gangnam Style" reached over a billion, making a record of more than any other viewed videos on YouTube.

But Gangnam Style wasn't only vital. Originally, Gangnam Style was meant for Korea only, which in there, the song was just as normal as other K-Pop music. In Japan, people rather DISLIKED Gangnam Style and was a total failure. And in November, Psy used the money he got and moved from Seoul, South Korea to Los Angeles, California. Since he hasn't really helped Korea in any way, the Koreans really don't think of Psy too much as hey do in the Americas, Middle East, West Asia and in Europe.
