How to block people from adding you as a friend on Facebook?

How do you take down "block" the "Add Friend" button on my Facebook, if one doesn't want to be sent anymore friend requests by others?

i dont think its enable but you can OFF your search engine so people cant find you in search button!!!

click this then click OFF "Do you want other search engines to link to your timeline?"

Go to your privacy settings
click on edit settings on the right of how to connect
a box appears. click on the arrow on the right of "who can send you friend requests?"
a drop down menu opens.
select "friends of friends"
you can't hide "add as friend" button to everyone. You can hide the add friend button from public.Your friends of friends can send you friend requests.
