Question about Pay as you go phones?
Is there a good pay as you go phone that has internet access? A phone that I get onto facebook & twitter with?
Also this might be a dumb question but with a minute phone how does that work with the internet?
Does it take minutes away everytime you use the internet?

There are 2 types of prepaid phones. Pay as you go and Monthly.
Pay as you go is where you buy a set amount of minutes and you have a set amount of days to use the minutes in before you must add more airtime. If you do not use the minutes or service days, they will add up and rollover.
Monthly service is where you get a set amount of minutes and you only have 30 service days to use them before they expire. You will have to buy another airtime card and add it before the 30 days is up to keep your phone number and service.

Most prepaid phones allow you to use Facebook and twitter.
You will be charged per minute that you are on the internet. The rate you are charged per minute depends on what provider you use. But generally if you are on the internet for one minute you are charged one minute of airtime.

Some new models of prepaid phones have wifi. So if you have access to wifi you will not have to use your minutes to use the internet on your phone.

I suggest looking at Tracfone if you want pay as you go. Generally people use Tracfone for an emergency phone or if they will be on the phone less than 100 minutes per month.

I suggest looking at Net10 if you want the option of pay as you go or monthly. Depending on what model of phone you get you can switch between pay as you go and monthly plans. Net10 offers 2 monthly plans $25 for 750 minutes or text messages with 30 service days or unlimited talk, text and web with 30 service days for $50. Unlimited web does not mean unlimited streaming. If you use your phone to stream and go over the limit you will be given a warning call that your service will be suspended and your phone will be blacklisted.

I suggest looking at Straight Talk if you only want a monthly option. Depending on what model of phone you get you can switch between the $30 with 30 service days 1000 minutes and 1000 text messages or the unlimited talk, text and web with 30 service days.

With Net10 and Straight Talk all of the smart phones require you to use the unlimited plans. You can not switch between the monthly plans and pay as you go or the $30 monthly plan.

You can go to Tracfone.com, Net10.com and Straight Talk.com and enter your zip code to see what phones are available for your calling area. Then compair phones and prices of airtime.

If you have anymore questions message me and I will try to help you answer any questions you may have.
