How do you delete your account on yahoo answers?

I signed in with facebook and when I try to delete my account, it says to write down my password. When I do, it says that the password is incorrect. Do I have to use my Facebook password or is there another way to delete yahoo answers when youve signed in with FB.

You need to sign in with your YAHOO email account to schedule your YAHOO email account for deletion. You need to UNLINK you Facebook email account form your Yahoo email account first. NO you CANNOT delete JUST your YA account.

Resolution

If you no longer wish to see Facebook details in your Yahoo! Contacts, you will need to unlink your Facebook from your Yahoo! account.

To unlink your Facebook account:

Sign in to Yahoo! Mail.
Select the status message section that says "What are you doing right now?" There will be an Unlink option.
Select Unlink.
Once you go back to Yahoo! Contacts, the Facebook information will no longer appear.

To close or delete your Yahoo! account:

Visit the Account Termination page.

Confirm again your password in the field provided and enter the CAPTCHA code.

Before closing your account, please understand:
