Not to sure why it won't work for you on Chrome. But it seems to work fine for me on Firefox. I'm sorry I'm not to much help with that but try seeing if Firefox would work for you with it.

Well, maybe you need to update your Chrome version? Or your Flash? Sometimes that's the same problem. As the other Answerer suggested, try it on another browser like Firefox, it's also free. You could also try another video app and see if that works better? Then you would know if it's just YouNow or your computer...try Rounds or sth? That usually works fine for me on Chrome, so it could be a good comparison (http://apps.facebook.com/chatrounds/conv...bannerid=0 ).
