Would this be an okay way to ask out a girl I have a crush on?
I have a small crush on this girl at my college. We both work for the college radio station, and we're not very close friends, but we know each other and are always very friendly with each other, and seem to click with each other...like, have the same sense of humor.

Would it be weird if I asked her to get some lunch or something someday?

Should I ask her at a party or if I see her around the station or campus?

Should I pay if she says yes?

Also, I always see her posting stuff about how she hates being single on Facebook and Twitter. Now I'm not trying to say we'll start dating, but does that mean she's looking?

Thanks for your help!

Yes, that's a just fine way to ask her out, but make sure you make it clear it's a date and not a friend thing. And I always have a better impression of a guy if he pays on the first date- I know it shouldn't matter, but for some reason its just a nice simple, sweet thing that gets me.
And finally, she is looking if she's posting/saying that stuff.

Good luck and kudos to you! It took my boyfriend almost a year to ask me out, lol XP Way to be brave.

why is it weird to ask a girl you like to have lunch with you? Maybe at this lunch you can ask her how she feels. Maybe the first lunch, see how it goes in regards to paying, some times lunch is just lunch. Offer to pay but don't take it as a rejection if she pays her share.

Use your mind and follow your heart.

I think it would be a lovely idea for you to ask her out for lunch or even just for coffee. If she does say yes, and you are now wondering if you should pay, well I would say offer to pay. Most women nowadays like to pay for their own, so just go from there.

As for her posting on social networks that she does not like to be single/ does not want to be, well of course she is looking. Most of the time when women post things like that, they already have someone in mind; personally I will openly admit I have done that as well.

Best of luck.

It wouldn't be weird to ask her to get lunch with you. Like find out what she likes and maybe suggest a place to eat. You can ask if she wants to go to a party. It would be okay if you pay the first time you eat together. If she is saying she hates being single it could mean she dislikes not getting to experience the things couples do, but chooses to remain single, or it could mean she wants to be in a relationship, but hasn't found a guy worth dating.
