has anyone seen the facebook virus?

so I know about the latest facebook virus. It looks like a friend sends you a vid or pic and if you open/download it your computers fried. I heard It kills your whole computer. Has anyone been affected by this or know anyone this happened to?? I know if this happened to you you wouldn't be using your computer but mabey you have two or got a new one. If this happened what happend that gave you/someone the virus. am I right about how you get it? Thanks I want to know so I don't get it.

Well, I've never encountered it, and, although I don't have to worry about it (I'm a Mac user), I do know how it can get into your computer.

It'll be sent through messages. A 'friend' will send you a message, the title should have dozens of spelling and grammatical errors in it, and (if you open it), it'll say you need to download the newest version of Flash to play the video included.

That's all I really know.
