Why do people want to crash big banks?
On Facebook, people keep posting ads, trying to get people to withdraw their money from the country's large banks (BofA, Chase) and put it into Unions. If everyone did this, wouldn't it hurt the economy even worse? Wouldn't thousands of people lose their jobs? Thanks for any input!

People want to crash big banks because big banks have been GIVEN billions of dollars of taxpayers money. Banks cheat customers out of their paychecks and hide fees. They basically charge you money to charge you money. Have you heard of the housing crisis? The banking industry caused it.
Banking is one thing we can live without. Ads |

Sure, you have a plausible argument, but it also depends if the banks are contributing more to society then they are worth. Honestly, I think big banks cause more harm than good(i.e. housing crash, extortion, cheating people's money with hidden fees, stealing billions of dollars in taxpayer's money, etc.) That is not to say, I do want banks to disappear, but they should have much less influence in the economy. If the only way to achieve that is by crashing large banks and losing thousands of jobs, then so be it.

Because the big banks have been bleeding us dry for years with no one taking action against them. These same banks were bailed out under bush and took the money to give themselves huge bonuses. I can't think of anything they did to earn those bonuses except steal from the rest of us.
