does facebook load super slowly for you?

It takes a loooooong time for facebook to load on my computer, and it often gets stuck or frozen without going into the next screen. Is it a virus in my computer, or is that just how it is with facebook? It is super annoying. Any suggestions to make it work better?

If it happens all the time it could be a virus,but if not then it's probably just facebook.TBH if facebook continue to allow all the infected shite to flow freely as they do then everybody's comp will be running slow sooner or later,unless they're really careful.

It would be a good idea to run a scan with your Anti-virus and Anti-spyware/malware programs.
Your internet speed could be way down.

Yep mine is running so slow it isnt even funny. I run a fan page with almost 10k fans and they are having the same issues

Same exact thing happening here! I have a new computer. It's probably because of all the kids home on vacation slowing it. A website can only handle so many people at once.

Reboot holding F8 down and run in the SAFE mode the following:

(a) Find and Remove Spyware and Malware using Microsoft Security Essentials:

1. Go to Microsoft.com and download Microsoft Security Essentials:

2. Run to clean computer and protect it. (This may require disabling or removing other protection programs.)

(b) Clean the Registry :

1. Go to PCTools.com by clicking the link and running 'try a free scan":
http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic…
2. This will download Registry Mechanic and repair some of your registry, but not all.
This program is extremely good and worth having to make sure the registry is clean.
There are other registry cleaners out there too if you prefer, but this is a start.

© Defragment your Hard Disk:

1. Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Disk Defragmenter.
2. Select the drives that you wish to defragment.
3. Click “Defragment Disks” button to proceed.

This is Recommended, but make sure that you do not have anything in the trash can that you want to save !!

(d) Deleting Temporary Files:

1. Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Disk CleanUp.
2. Select a drive and click OK.

(e) Reboot and Rerun all progams (a,b,c,d) again until they complete error free or have reached optimized levels.
