i really was extremely touched by his book "message in a bottle" . i have become obsessed of sending a word of admiration to him.please help.

His website should tell you how to send fan mail. Failing that, contact his publisher and ask them what to do. Most publishers will forward fan mail to their authors. Bear in mind they probably hold on to it until there's enough to justify sending somebody down to the post office with one big box or bag. As well as that, Mr Sparks is a very busy man (all authors are). So it may be a long time before you get a response, if you get one at all.
