how did facebook overtake myspace if facebook is just a myspace light?

I find facebook more easier to manage and not a lot of adds and random people adding you like on myspace

Myspace: Slow, takes about a minuet to load a profile, friend requests from upcoming events, takes like 10 minuets just to update your profile, takes 2 minuets to update your status.

Facebook: Fast, takes no longer than 2 seconds to load a profile, friend requests from people you actually know, only takes a minuet to update your profile, takes 2 seconds to update your status.

So if you use Myspace, you must have ALOT of time on your hands. If you use Facebook, you can do things ALOT faster.
