I mean, does it incite contention? Are those categories better left blank?

I'm seeing more and more people just fill in the basics "Name/School/Age", so I was wondering if it's now a faux pas?

What do you personally fill in under the profile section?

Your FB, your rules. Just be prepared for some people responding in a negative way. Once you post your opinions, it's out there for good and no taking it back.

No. But it's a great way to lose friends.

Best not to discuss politics, religion or sexual orientation.
