Why do people say "Not all Muslims are terrorist, but all terrorists are Muslims"?

I'm a Muslim I respect anyone else, please hear what I have to say from my opinion and please don't be offensive. First of all I don't live in the US so I don't know that for sure, but also neither do you, not all terrorists are Muslim. I'm Egyptian and from what I see that media lies and changes anything for the benefit of their country, I don't believe the media, not in Egypt, not in anywhere in the world. Yes in the US there have been a lot of terrorism actions by Muslims.
I don't know who said that but from what I've just read it's GW Bush (which I only find makes sense for the sake of his country)
But I want to explain something. Killing is a sin, in any religion I have read about so far, as it is in Islam. The thing is where I live you have to be listed under a religion but it doesn't necessarily mean that you follow it or even believe in it.
If any of you have any idea what's going on in Egypt, Our president is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, if you've ever heard of it. I honestly wasn't really afraid they'd win because I didn't know what could be the worst of it. Why did people vote for him? Simply because they didn't want someone for the old regime to win which is completely ignorant + they "bribed" if you would say, the uneducated people, giving them food, gifts and stuff (I know it's know bribing I just don't know what it's called.) and they told them if you don't vote for us you're going to hell. So ... yeah .. complete ignorance.
You know what if you were living here and had no idea about what Islam is you would have probably hated it even more. They say it's not a sin to kill some people (I don't really wanna go into details I've typed a lot already and starting to doubt anyone is ever going to read this.) because they don't count them as Muslims which is complete bullshit because one of the three greatest sins in Islam is killing unless you're defending yourself. So you will hear a lot of crap about Islam and you have the right to believe it after what everyone has seen from so called "Muslims". But if you know what Islam is then you would know the blame isn't on Islam it's on ignorant Muslims. I'm Muslim, I'm a girl, I'm eighteen, I'm not the most religious person you'll meet but still I want to get past this life without going to hell, I wanna be an architect and I'm not planning on killing anyone so if you're not convinced of anything I just said you'll still know that not all Muslims are terrorists at least not me


Terrorists are not fighting for Islam and if they are then they are ignorant of their religion. That's a brief summary of what I just said.

And like the other girl said, News Channels NEVER ever say the religion of other criminals. You never see " Christian Extremist kills innocent kids in Afghanistan." But if it was a muslim doing they'd put the "muslim" part in CAPITALS letters and put Islam in there somewhere. That's the way they control their audience's thinking. No wonder majority of the American population thinks Islam is bad, they've been conditioned to think that way.

Ignorance is why they use that quote and it's actually a rip from Hitler quote (in translation) "Not all Jews in Germany are bad, but all the bad in Germany can be linked to Jews."

So it's a way of seeming to make a fair assessment when in fact your feeding the crowd mere argument by assertion.

But it's bogus as most terror groups are Christian, Jewish, Marxist or Maoist. None can be linked with Islam as it's nether a nationalist religion or a supporter of race of coercion by force.

It's why you get different titles banded around "jihadist","militant", "Islamist" etc as there is no specific thing that these various movements can be attached to. Their not terrorists in most cases but freedom fighters and people sick of Western planted dictatorships.

The best book on the subject is "How Globalization Spurs Terrorism: The Lopsided Benefits of One World and Why That Fuels Violence" by Fathali M. Moghaddam.

By putting more pressure on poor people and countries to provide cheaper goods to "richer" people you place pressures on them that can only be overcome with conflict. It's why the Americans revolted and engaged in terrorism against the British Crown in the 1700s and let to the American war on independence.

Arabs are sick of Western involvement and want a similar revolution for themselves.

Actually there are terrorists of everything. There are Muslim terrorists, Christian terrorists, Jewish terrorists, Hindi terrorists, Buddhist terrorists, terrorists that are atheists.

There is 1 of everything. You can't say Muslims are the only terrorists on the world because of Islam. There are many terrorists.

Half or more, of the earth's population are terrorists and evil/bad. The other half are good and not terrorists. You can't say Muslims are the only terrorists on earth, it is easy to imagine but impossible to happen. I am a Muslim and i am not a terrorist. Many yahoo users are Muslims and they are not terrorists but kind people.

Plus who ever calls people bad names to describe them is a weak person. Because a person that does that has nothing but to call anyone terrorist with no proof, and report answers/questions. This is what a weak person does.
