First uninstall Norton as it will have installed hundreds of files on your computer which are not needed

If you stopped paying for it then your not getting recent up-dates so it's useless scanning with it.

I would remove it using the Norton removal tool in the link below,

http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsg...3108162039

Then install a Free Anti Virus like Avast free, AVG, Avira, or Microsoft Security Essentials all free.

I would also do scan using Malwarebytes:

Try running a Malwarebytes scan. Let it remove everything it finds. So make sure you click remove selected after scan is finished. Also after you download the free version it's important to click the update tab and let Malwarebytes update before scanning with it.

The free versions of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware are very good for on-demand scans and removal.
Now to deal with this infection:
1. Go to CNET at http://www.download.com and download the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and update the program's signatures.
2. then shut your PC off
3.hold down key F8 (not F and 8,but F8) and restart your PC
4 after it restarts, choose the option for Safe Mode and hit Enter (on your keyboard) and wait a few moments for it to start
5 once you're in safe mode, open Malwarebytes' and run a full scan.Quarantine what it finds. Then delete them only from quarantine
6.restart your PC normally.

I use spybot search and destroy (it's free but donations are appreciated, has no nag screens and it works great). You should scan and immunize with this whenever you get updates, download anything or install any new software.

Also I like to use Malwarebytes for in-between or quick checks of my drives.
