Yes, our government has gone mad. SOPA will ensure that communication and thought will be strictly controlled. Last Thursday, on the 220nd anniversary of the Bill of Rights, the President signed into law NDAA which grants absolute power to the President to arrest without warrant, indefinitely detain without charge, torture and kill American citizens, effectively deleting our rights under the 4th, 5th, 6th 7th and 8th Amendments to the Constitution.

In doing this, the US clearly wants to associate itself with China, Iran and Malaysia. The land of the free? Not anymore.

The US government has gone rogue and they're trying to create a situation to bring in Marshall Law to further their ends toward a NWO.

The government saids it has to do with copyright laws. The Sopa Act will prevent anybody from stream lining movies, games and music too! I guess Hollywood is saying that alot celebrities are being cheated because of these new phones androids and ipads are so savy and high tech that people can steal a celebrity's artwork and violate copyrights laws! They go on to say the social networks causes a problem because people are dowloading photos that are not their own! I don't understand! I can see You Tube violating copyrights because people download tv shows and music all the time. How does Facebook and MySpace violates copyrights laws? Just You Tube and key in Sopa Act in the search box. It gets worst by imposing criminal charges if you download without getting permission from the original artist. Yes, you will not be able to download Facebook or any other social network on your phone. They say Facebook is closing down Dec 2012.

Its not just America. People all over the civilised world are allowing their governments to take away their freedoms. Communication among the people is the enemy of bad government. Always has been. The internet has become a thorn in the side of many country's, now its even becoming a thorn in the side of...."democratic" governments.....Proving what a lot of bull western "democracy" really is. So much for the land of the free. Soon all of yahoo answers will either be closed down, or you will be subject to a knock on your door because you said something nasty about your government.
