How do I advertise my website, but still stay anonymous?
In other words, how to I advertise my website for free, without emailing friends, showing it on facebook, etc.? Is there a way?

Make such a good site people refer to you in their blogs.

Take out text or banner ads.

Or, create a new email account just your site promotions. Bonus points if you can have the same domain as your web site.

Knowing your name or is fundamental to FaceBook and other social networking sites, so you can't really be anonymous and advertise there.
