My laptop(windows vista) wont detect my wireless internet?

I had just got my my laptop and for some reason it wont even detect my internet
Its a dell with windows vista

I had that issue once, When i got Centurylink highspeed as it arrived, i tried it as the guy was here when they want leave untile it's right, so i tried it and it was fast. that night when getting back on it, it wouldn't detect also, but i finally got it.
