Should I purchase the Nexus 7 inch tablet? Is it worth the money?
I am considering purchasing the Nexus 7 inch tablet the 8GB version, but not exactly sure how it works and what all the features are that come with it? Will I need to purchase apps, etc once I buy the tablet or does it come with any available free apps? I read some of the reviews and seen quite a few complaints about the tablet not working after about a month and half. Some complaints were that the screen would go black after losing charge and even after trying to charge it back up was just dead and wouldn't come back on or anything so it had to be sent in for repairs. Anyone else had this type of problem? Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
I forgot to add that another complaint I found in the reviews was the Adobe Flash issue and people were complaining it doesn't support Adobe Flash? Also is it good for surfing the net, social networking sites like facebook, etc, and email?

I have this tablet and I'm using it now! It's really good! I've used 2 other 7" tablets and this one is my favourite, it has a brilliant screen! There are thousands of free apps and games to chose from. I did have trouble with the black screen but I sent it back and got a new one, no-problems. If the screen does go black, I just charge it for 2 hours then hold the power button for 30 seconds and it works great again. The features it has are the appstore, internet, music (music costs money though) and a few more but my mind has gone blank. It doesn't come prepared installed with a camera but you can download one from the app store, its quite easy. The layout is simple to use! I would recommend this tablet, I have persuaded my best friend to get one too! I love mine and I haven't had too many problems in the 6 months I have owned it!

I have a Nexus 7. I love it, but there are a few quirks about it. It's everything I was looking for in my tablet: the ability to surf the Web (my old tablet's Internet would crash all the time; I couldn't even use it -_-, but the Nexus 7 is great for internet!), check my e-mail (comes with an email app, very easy to set up your account(s)), and most importantly, play games! The N7 comes with Google Play, Android's main appstore. There are plenty of free apps available for download, and there are paid ones as well. In Google Play, you can also buy movies, music, and books. (Just note: you'll need a Google account to use this, and during setup you're prompted to log into your Google account. Might be helpful to make one in advance). To answer your question about social networking, most social networks (like Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, ect..) have their own apps available for free, which just eliminates the step of opening your web browser when you want to use it.

The Nexus 7 has been very successful and is (in my opinion) a wonderful tablet. But... like everything, it has its flaws. Like you mentioned, there is no Adobe Flash Player support for Android 4.0 and up (The N7 is 4.2 Jelly Bean). There is an app I would recommend downloading when you start out: Adobe Air. It's available in Google Play for free, and uses Flash Player for APPS only. (Many people think Adobe Air is overall Flash Player; it's NOT.) I know that because with my old tablet, which did not have Adobe Air, I would be prompted in games I installed to get Adobe Air. But anyways, no, the Nexus 7 does not support Adobe Flash. There is something else about the Nexus 7 I'd like to warn you about. Now, I don't know if Google and Asus have solved this issue (as I got my N7 for Christmas), but there's something you should know about called screen lifting. It's been a huge problem with them (from what I've read on Android forums) with the N7. It may or may not happen right out of the box: the (usually) left side of the screen, right where it meets up with the silver edge, feels spongy if you push on it, and sometimes will make a creaking sound. The screen may also appear to be raised up more than the rest of the screen. I'm experiencing this (you might've seen the question I posted about it) currently. So far, (*crosses fingers*) this hasn't gotten any worse. I just have to remember to not push down too hard in this area. The severity varies, also from my reading about this. Some people barely notice it, and others can visibly see the lift and the screen may crack if you press too much on the loose spot. (The link for some info on this is in the Sources box). Just remember, I wanted to tell you about this. I'm not saying yours will have this. I do not know if Google has already resolved this issue. Just thought it'd be fair for you to know.
Wow, I've babbled so much about the screen lift and stuff, I forgot what else I was going to say!
And I have not had the issue with the screen going black, by the way.
I'm sorry this is soooo long xD
Happy Nexus shopping!
