What would be a better, more grammatically correct, way to phrase this with saying communication a million times after each form of communication

"Communication is a much more in depth process involving the study of areas such as social interaction, social change, new media as well as organizational, mediated, and health communication."

Communication is the relaying of thoughts and feelings to others. We can use all our senses and in so doing, are thus able to communicate in different ways. Look at the non verbal ways that the newly born responds to human contact.
Other communication is done through facial expression, speech, actions ( positive and negative), sight(smiles and scowls), taste which leads our mothers to cook the foods we find appertising, smell etc.

You could go onto extend this to society as a whole.
