I am in dire need of counselling. Advice please?
I want to work, I really really want a career and want to work. I have a very serious illness standing in my way. I am currently on disability which I fought hard to get after Centrelink put so much pressure on me to perform tasks and jobs I could not do. They gave it to me. I have talent and skills, but cannot get on well with people in the workplace. I like to work alone. I love books literature and computers and taxation stuff. I want to work from home. I can't sew but I want to learn. I hate doing nothing. I am writing a murder mystery in the planning stages. I have been told I have great creativity and talent for writing. I hate doing nothing. I have tried voluntary work and been bullied. I am bullied in the work force and fall to pieces, I can't handle it. I want to work on my own. My anxiety stops me from working in paid jobs. What can I do to keep myself busy and what sort of work or course can I do? I want to achieve great things. I am ambitious and driven.

I do not know how to make this more clear.
Work from Home jobs do not exist.
Consider them all scams. Not some of them.... all of them.

You have a serious illness, it's not time to be dreaming and falling for scams.
It's time to get a doctor that can get you some real help.
What if you have cancer?
Go to a doctor - will ya?

Employers are not paying writers or readers.
They have no demand for this. None.
You may fall for scams, that promise this. I hope you are not this naive.

Bullied? Read a book on how to fight back.
For anxiety, get some pills from your doctor. If not good enough, get stronger ones.

I can see you have interest for literature. So I think you should go into becoming a writer. If you want to do some business, then you can start a company where you provide computer and technical help to people who are need of help for there computers and laptops. That is something really good because you have mentioned that you have got computer skills.

Hi Ali

I’m Scott and I work for the Department of Human Services in a team that responds to questions about Centrelink payments and services on social media sites.

I just thought I’d add to the other answers and post a reminder about our Social Work Services. They provide free, confidential counselling those who are going through difficult times. There’s information available on our website, at http://www.humanservices.gov.au/socialwork

They’ll be able to help refer you on to someone else, too.

Take care, Ali!
