This girl likes me but deleted me from facebook?

There is this girl in highschool that is in a different grade and floor and we like each other. Why would she delete me from facebook? we still chat! I asked her why and apoligized if i made her uncomfortable and she responded that it was not personal and she was just deleting people she knows. But she seems to have gained friends rather than removed.....i never said anything bad except inviting her to the gym. WTF? She also has hundrets of friends MANY OF WHOM she doesnt know....
