Why The Hell Am I Getting These Ads?

I am getting these ads everywhere, I know this isn't right, because Wikipedia doesn't have ads and shouldn't for people like me who donate on a regular basis to them. These ads are on ALL site, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, 9Gag. They are getting VERY annoying, any help to get rid of them will help. I have ad block and could n=my Avast have anything to do with it. it's not caused by Avast...it sounds like a third party extension or browser add on that snuck by you..download the free version of malwarebytes and run a quick scan...it should find all the crap and allow you to get rid of it all.cheers

From your bookmarks I see you use torrents.
Once you start downloading items from those, nothing can be certain about the state of the Windows system.

Ads from Wiki are indicative of malicious installations.
