Is it okay for your little sister to be more popular than you?
I'm 17 and a senior, and she's 15 and a sophomore. She is seriously WAY more popular at school. Has like a million friends and everyone knows who she is. I always see her talking to boys, and she had lots of boyfriends, and I seriously only had one girlfriend my whole life, which makes me feel like a loser. I only have 2 BFF's since elementary and there both girls, and everyone thinks I'm gay for that, they're seriously the only people I actually hanged out with my whole life. Like Lizzie McGuire.

I just feel like such a loser, I'm a senior in high school, and still nobody knows who I am. My sister parties more than me, because she gets invited. Has like a million friends on Facebook and followers on Twitter, but don't even have an account, Only have 2 friends so it would make me look more lame if I made a Facebook, and I just text them on my phone anyway, Why would I need a Facebook anyway. IDK it's just weird because usually the older male sibling is supposed to be dominant or whatever, but she's cooler than me. I overheard my sister talking to her friends, and she's all like,"I can't believe I'm related to that guy."

People dont just get popular when they get old. Im good friends with a guy who has a twin brother. His twin isnt too popular, hes an alright guy, but hes weird, I guess. Its nothing to do with age. She has one personality, you have another.

Yes it is. Don't let it get to you or else your sister will rub it in your face (or at least that is what my little siblings do to me). Just hang out with your friends (if you have them) and try to ignore your sister.

Try not to compare yourself: you are different people. Do not let yourself get jealous either or worry about being in the same circle.

My elder brother was SO good looking in school - girls used to fall all over him and he used to fend them off. He was 6 feet tall , and had aryan features and brown hair and brown eyes. All this is very rare with asian-indian set of genes.

I am 3.5 yrs younger to him. His sister. Short, fat. :-) Zero popularity. Zero boy friends nothing - so much so - at 34 yrs of age (october) I got my first kiss.

Throught out school I had 1 friend, and in college the same friend. :-)

but the big thing is - I NEVER made an effort - I just cried and had wishful thinking that some magic would change things all off a sudden. Zap! It never happened.

Things changed when I made an effort and lost weight :-)

Now - you make an effort - set up that fb account - you will be surprized you get connected to so many on it and start getting invitations to parties. Why should any one call you - when you are sitting comfortably with your two friends behind a wall? You have to be there - in order to be there.

Make plan of doing things - take interest in other people - try to find what they like and how you can make their day better.

It does work out - I know since I was a bigger loner than you :-)

It's fine for you to be less social than your sister. Just because you're related doesn't mean you have to be the same! You're not a loser. You have two close friends. That's more than some people have.

Chin up!
