Can someone know I visited their facebook profile?

Right now are there apps on facebook that allow you to see who visited? I visited some profiles and saw that a few days later those people put up privacy settings. I wonder if they can see I visited through some app.

There is one application which i saw few months back, it was telling the top friends who viewed the profile.

Facebook doesn't allow people to track who views their profiles or contents. Third party applications are also are unable to track anybody.

Sorry no apps can tell you who visited anyone profiles, the ones that say they can are scam/spam apps.
