Right now I see ads in Craiglist seeking people with A+, MSCE and other high paying certifications. Also having 2 to 6 years is a must. Im just trying to get a simple internship in network. Do I really need all these certifications? I plan on getting A+ after I get a good paying job to pay for the learning course.

you can get small gigs on rent a coder and similar sites. you build up a rating which you can then use on your resume. You can also get free MIT courses (non-accredited) on just about any topic that you want to learn. There are also tons of books available on these topics for free at your local library.

One place I would look for an internship is Cisco. They have a good social networking system for people in IT. You should check out the forums.
