i received a warning on facebook about a virus called koobface. Is it real?The warning said if you click on a video you can get the virus.

Yeah you are basically right. Never respond to weird messages on Facebook like that. Once that happen, the infection will take place if your antivirus is not up-to-date. Only piece of advice is to get rid of it from the messages and never click dumb links like "Click x video" or "View y picture" from something you don't know.
