Trying to send a marriage request on facebook?

My friend and I are trying to marry each other on Facebook, but when I try to send it to her she still has a pending request.. how can she get rid of it? It doesn't work if she sends me one either, so how do you find this request? By the way, she thinks the person who sent it to her deactivated their account so, yeah, if that helps.

Tell her to send you the request back and go to timeline review (top right corner of your profile) and accept it. That's it now it will be visible on both profiles.
