how to make a facebook status on mobile with a lock on facebook?

I went on facebook on my phone, but only realising that there was a 'lock' image on the status. how can I make my status available for everyone to see while on my mobile.

Open Facebook in a browser in phone (eg : Opera mini)
go to your home, there you can see a status bar under that you would see "only me"(lock )
click on it and select the audience you want. and post.
