I need TWITTER help! If you send a message to someone, do they see it and can they respond? And how?
I sent one to Adam Lambert, and b4 the message I wrote @adamlambert. Is tht right? Is he able to respond? Where do I look for the response?

Yes they should if they look/check. On your end you can do the following to see if they replied
When I go to my home page for Twitter, on the right it says following, followers, and under that HOME. Directly under that, @USERNAME. Click @USERNAME and you can see if you have any replies
