Hi.

There are many ways to make it online. I suggest you reading the book Crush It by Gary Vaynerchuk. Great book. He will explain to your how you can take your passion and make money with it as long as you are willing to push and succeed.

Basically build something around your passion, about what excites you. If you like tea, then make a blog about tea, talk about it, find forums about it and eventually you can make money like that. Read the book..he explains it more.
