Where can I find free knitting or crocheting patterns?
I currently run a store through Etsy and Facebook, selling jewellery, however, I would like to expand my market by selling handmade gloves/mittens, scarfs, hats or socks.
My shop sells both fashionable and retro items, so I would like patterns that follow this also.
Does anyone know where I can find any free, retro or fashionable knitting or crocheting patterns?
Thanks in advance!

With your question there is one place I can send you to that covers just about everything you mentioned. The majority of items are mentioned so all you have to do is look. You will get into a place that says there are 100 patterns on the one subject be it knit or crochet, When you go there there will be an ad placed in it but ignore it and continue your search. The patterns are there, with pictures and instructions

I hope you enjoy looking though it as much as I do.

There's http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory.php
And http://www.knittingpatterncentral.com/directory.php

But be careful! You should know that you can't just sell anything from any pattern. Many patterns, even though they're free for you to use, are copyrighted and are only meant for you to use for personal purposes. Look for a note on the page with the free pattern and see if they write that it's okay for you to sell the finished products. If not, email the owner of the site and ask if it's okay, or alter the patterns to make your own unique design. Many people don't care if you sell the finished product of patterns, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

There are absolutly 1000's of FREE patterns all over the internet. But you will find that they are all "copywrite", so you can't use them and then sell the product.
